Participate Virtually in the SLJ Summit October 2-3, 2009
The School Library Journal Leadership Summit 2009 takes places this week on October 2 and 3. If you are not one of the lucky ones getting to attend in person, don’t despair—you can still participate virtually! Here are some entry points into the virtual presentations and conversations:

This year’s summit theme is “librarians as Leaders of 21st Century Learning.” At this year’s summit, participants will explore the powerful relationship between school librarians and 21st century skills, including information and communications skills; critical thinking; interpersonal and collaborative skills; global awareness; and financial, business, and civic literacy.
